Amsterdam's hottest deep house duo, Detroit Swindle, returns to shake up the dance floor at TUFF CLUB this March.

Made up of Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets, the duo was brought together by their mutual love for Motown, hip-hop and early house music. Since their arrival on the underground dance music circuit in 2011, they have quickly amassed a dedicated following for their soulful, dance-floor-ready productions, and genre-spanning DJ sets.

Passionate about the integrity of their music, the duo sought to take full control over their own releases, as well as to provide a platform to support like-minded musicians, through the founding of record label Heist Recordings in 2013. Now the go-to label for proper underground and electronic music, Heist Recordings has brought forward new talents such as Max GraefFrits Wentink, Nebraska, Adesse VersionsFouk, Brame & Hamo, and Nachtbraker, and is continually adding artists to the growing family.

Apart from releases on their own label, Detroit Swindle has also released music on globally recognized labels such as Freerange Records, Future Classic, Dirt Crew, Kaoz Theory and many more. In 2018, they also released their sophomore album "High Life" to critical acclaim.

Get ready for a mid-week boogie like no other as they deliver an evening of soft disco-flecked grooves that rolls into swingin’ house, and more.
